Foundations of Supervision (Online)

Together in the Mystery offers an online Foundations of Supervision course, featuring an opening intensive from August 26 - September 25, 2025 and a closing intensive from April 30th-May 28, 2026, with 8 months of individual supervision/mentoring as you establish or grow your supervision ministry. Both intensives include live, 2.5-hour Zoom Gatherings and asynchronous engagement, facilitated by Maria Tattu Bowen and Vanessa Caruso. Program consists of:

Ten Zoom Gatherings between August 26 - September 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 4:00-6:30 PM Pacific for the Opening Intensive:

• Tuesdays: August 26, September 2, 9, 16, 23

• Thursdays: August 28, September 4, 11, 18, 25

8 Months of Supervised Practicum between October 2025 - May 2026

Ten Zoom Gatherings between April 30 - May 28, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 4:00-6:30 PM Pacific for the Closing Intensive

• Tuesdays: May 5, 12, 19, 26

• Thursdays: April 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28

Intro to TIM Supervision for experienced Spiritual Directors (Online)

Designed for experienced supervisors trained outside of Together in the Mystery, this 2-week intensive can be taken as a stand-alone program or you will receive a significant tuition discount with concurrent enrollment in either our Advanced Certificate in Supervision or our Facilitated Group Supervision program. This program is facilitated by Maria Tattu Bowen and Vanessa Caruso and consists of:

• Six Zoom Gatherings between July 7 - July 18, 2025 from 4:00-6:30 PM Pacific:

  • Mondays: July 7 & 14

  • Wednesdays: July 9 & 16

  • Fridays: July 11 & 18

Facilitated Group Supervision for experienced Supervisors (Online)

Together in the Mystery offers an online Facilitated Group Supervision course, featuring an opening intensive from July 21 - August 4, 2025 and a supervised practicum with 4 individual supervision/mentoring sessions, a midpoint and closing synchronous Zoom gathering, and asynchronous community. Facilitated by Maria Tattu Bowen and Vanessa Caruso. Intensive dates as follows:

• Seven, 2.75-hour Zoom Gatherings between July 21 - August 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 12:45 PM or 4:00 - 6:45 PM Pacific

  • Mondays: July 21, 28 & August 4

  • Wednesdays: July 23 & 30

  • Fridays: July 25 & August 1

Advanced Certificate in supervision (Online)

This Advanced Certificate in Supervision dovetails with Foundations of Supervision so that participants in Foundations may complete advanced training between their two Foundations intensives. It is also appropriate for graduates of Foundations of Supervision or classic TIM training offered between 2008-2019 and for those concurrently enrolled in Intro to TIM for Experienced Supervisors.

This advanced supervision training program features two courses. The Art of Supervision I meets from October 1 - December 10, 2025.  The Art of Supervision II meets from January 7 - April 1, 2026. Each course features both synchronous gatherings and asynchronous engagement. Course dates as follows:

Art of Supervision I: October 1 - December 10, 2025, on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 4:00 - 6:00 PM Pacific

• October 1, 15, 29

• November 12 & 16

• December 10

Art of Supervision II: January 7 - April 1, 2026, on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Pacific

• January 7 & 21

• February 4 & 18

• March 4 & 18

Prerequisite: concurrent enrollment in Foundations of Supervision or Intro to TIM for Experienced Supervisors; or completion of Foundations of Supervision or classic TIM training between 2008-2019. TIM Graduates: Apply Here.
