2024 Update
This year brings a return to Together in the Mystery's classic compassionate, contemplative, evocative supervision training in an updated format that we're calling Foundations of Supervision. We're offering it in person and, for the first time, online. In addition, we're introducing an Advanced Certificate in Supervision for those enrolled concurrently in our Foundations in Supervision program and for those who've graduated from TIM's classic training from 2008-2019 as well. Together in the Mystery offers its first-ever online Foundations of Supervision course, featuring an opening intensive from September 4 - 25, 2024 and a closing intensive from May 7-28, 2025, with 8 months of individual supervision/mentoring as you establish or grow your supervision ministry. Both intensives include live, 2 1/2 hour Zoom Gatherings and asynchronous engagement. Facilitation and supervision by Maria Tattu Bowen and Vanessa Caruso.

Together in the Mystery partners with Retreat House in Dallas, TX and Perkins School of Theology to bring you Foundations of Supervision, featuring in-person opening and closing intensives, with a year of individual supervision/mentoring and asynchronous community in between.
The opening intensive is from August 1-4, 2024 and the closing intensive will be August 7-10, 2025, both at Retreat House, facilitated by Tara Owens & Vanessa Caruso, and hosted by Lil Smith.

Foundations of Supervision (Dublin, Ireland)

Manresa Jesuit Centre of Spirituality in Dublin, Ireland
Together in the Mystery collaborates with Manresa Jesuit Centre of Spirituality in Dublin, Ireland, to offer Foundations in Supervision, which culminates with an Advanced Diploma in Spirituality (Supervision) awarded by St. Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth.
The opening intensive begins September 19 - September 24, 2024. Concluding intensive from May 15- 20 May, 2025, with 8 months of individual supervision/mentoring and both synchronous and asynchronous engagement in between. Facilitation and supervision by Vanessa Caruso and Eileen O'Brien.
*Intensive residencies begin at Manresa with Thursday supper and end with Tuesday lunch.

Advanced Certificate in Supervision - Online
This Advanced Certificate in Supervision dovetails with Foundations of Supervision so that participants in Foundations may complete advanced training between their two Foundations intensives. It is also appropriate for graduates of the classic TIM training offered between 2008-2019.
This advanced supervision training program features two courses. The Art of Supervision I meets from October 2 - December 18, 2024. The Art of Supervision II meets from January 15 - April 2, 2025. Each course features both synchronous gatherings and asynchronous engagement. Prerequisite: concurrent enrollment in Foundations of Supervision or completion of classic TIM training between 2008-2019.
Those intending to complete the Foundations of Supervision and Advanced Certificate in Supervision during the same year may check a box on the Foundations application to indicate this choice. Those who completed classic TIM training from 2008-2019 may simply have their spiritual director and supervisor fill out these verification forms
